Although I have experience with computers that goes back to before the internet, it has always been in the field of electronics, and not programming, which is something I have always had difficulty with. I did create this site, but it's my resourcefulness that got me this far, and It would not be possible without the kind help from people on stackoverflow.com and sites like thesitewizard.com matthewjamestaylor.com and a few others, who pointed me in the right direction, and gave me clues.
If you are a web developer, then you may be able to see that parts of this site were done in a strange and roundabout way. That is a product of what I had to work with, and how I figured out to make stuff work that I could not find simple or satisfactory solutions for. I did not want to sacrifice my vision on how everything looks and behaves, and content management systems tried to squeeze me into boxes, I could not fit into. For the most part I did pretty well, for a complete novice equipped with a text editor.
